Christopher J Keeven, Associate Attorney
Christopher J. Keeven joined Shaw Bransford & Roth in 2009 as an associate attorney, where he practices federal personnel and employment law.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Keeven served as General Counsel for the unions representing the U.S. Capitol Police and U.S. Park Police. Mr. Keeven represented law enforcement officers under investigation and subject to adverse employment actions, including removal and suspension. He also represented law enforcement officers and federal unions in grievance arbitration proceedings and unfair labor practice proceedings. In addition to legal representation, Mr. Keeven also offered training for the union representatives on federal labor and employment law. During law school, Mr. Keeven worked as a law clerk for a business litigation firm in Denver, CO.
Mr. Keeven received his B.A. from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he also served on the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy.
Mr. Keeven is admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois and the District of Columbia. Additionally, Mr. Keeven is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
