Ms. Perkins joined the firm in November 2009. Her practice is concentrated on the representation of federal executives, managers and employees in all aspects of federal personnel and employment discrimination law before U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Offices of Inspector General.

Prior to joining SB&R, Ms. Perkins was a Senior Counsel for Employment at the United States Senate, representing Senate offices on labor and employment law issues. Ms. Perkins also has extensive litigation and counseling experience representing private entities and state and District of Columbia governmental entities on employment law matters.

Ms. Perkins received her B.A. from the College of William and Mary and received her J.D. from University of Illinois College of Law. Ms. Perkins is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Illinois and various federal district courts.
